Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Elegant Cupcakes by Emma, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Orders & Payment
- A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received.
- For larger orders and wedding bookings, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the date, with the remaining balance due by the agreed date.
- Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received.
Changes & Cancellations
- Reasonable changes to an order may be accommodated where possible, subject to availability.
- Changes to designs, flavours or quantities may result in an additional charge.
- Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made close to the collection date may be subject to the full balance being payable.
- If Elegant Cupcakes by Emma needs to cancel an order due to circumstances beyond our control, any payment made will be refunded.
Collection
- Collection times will be agreed in advance and customers are responsible for collecting orders at the agreed time.
- Once an order has been collected, responsibility for the safe handling and storage of the cakes/cupcakes passes to the customer.
- Cakes and cupcakes should be transported and stored as advised.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
- Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements when ordering.
- Every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination; however, our products are made in a kitchen where allergens are handled.
- Products may contain or come into contact with nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten and other allergens.
- Gluten-free and vegan options are prepared separately where possible but cannot be guaranteed to be completely free from traces of allergens.
Designs & Photographs
- Customers may provide design ideas or reference images. These are used as inspiration and the finished product may vary slightly.
- Handmade decorations and piped details will naturally have minor variations.
- Elegant Cupcakes by Emma reserves the right to make minor changes to a design where necessary to ensure the best finished result.
- We may photograph finished orders for use on our website and social media unless the customer requests otherwise.
Wedding & Event Orders
- Wedding and event bookings are subject to the specific quotation and payment schedule provided at the time of booking.
- Any venue requirements, access arrangements or setup details must be provided in advance.
- Additional charges may apply for changes to setup requirements, venue access or arrangements after booking.
Customer Responsibility
- Please check your order upon collection and notify us immediately of any issues.
- We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused after collection, including damage caused during transportation, incorrect storage or handling.
- Elegant Cupcakes by Emma reserves the right to update these terms and conditions where necessary.
